Menginstal ulang system restore :
- siapkan CD Windows XP
- Cari file SR.INF lokasinya ada di C:\Windows\Inf\sr.inf
- klik kanan, install
- Masukan CD Windows XP, cari file SR.SY_ di Folder I386
Double klik file tersebut untuk menginstall / repair sytem restore.

Dengan kedua cara tersebut system restore akan kembali aktif dan dapat kita gunakan sewaktu-waktu untuk membuat restore point atau merestore restore point.
